Work over the two and a half weeks was divided up as follows:
- First, a meeting with the head of GIZ, the German organization that funds the three ASBLs.
- Then a two-day session with each of the three ASBLs to respond to the request: “Write up project proposals and submit them to the potential partners you know”.
- A summary from Jean-François explaining how the two days would unfold.
- Requests for explanations on the documents received in France prior to his intervention..
- Work with the participants of each ASBL on their future.
- The three associations then worked in synergy to choose the 3 main themes for the work and development of ASBLs in the future.
- Finally, a two-day working session with a 4th organization, independent of the 3 ASBLs, in charge of promoting social, health and economic development actions, with a four-point program:
- Présentation de chacun.
- Analysis of the working agreement of December 7, 2024.
- Analysis of the dossier.
- Discussion of strengths, weaknesses and future funding requirements.
Jean-François, AVe expert, worked on the reports each evening at the hotel and sent them shortly after his return to France.
They were deemed constructive by the 3 ASBLs and the organization Jean-François worked with.
A brief report was also sent to GIZ.
