November 2024: AVe at the Abidjan Livestock Summit
Two AVe experts take part in SELAB (Abidjan Livestock Summit) from November 21 to 24, 2024 with several French livestock partners.
Responding to an invitation from the Ivory Coast's Minister of Livestock, Bernard, AVe expert in pig breeding, and Daniel, Ave expert in cattle breeding, took part in SELAB on a joint stand with several French livestock partners: IFIP (Institut Français du Porc), AXIOM, French leader in pig genetics, CFC (Celtic Freight Consulting), UNIPORC.

The aim of the show was to promote Côte d'Ivoire's livestock sectors: cattle, goats, sheep, pork and poultry .... For the third edition of the show, France was the guest of honor. On the same stand was a French pork cluster comprising IFIP (Institut Français du Porc), AXIOM (French leader in pig genetics), Celtic Freight Consulting, UNIPORC and AVe. Over the three days, representatives of the various breeding organizations presented their know-how to visiting Ivorian breeders and the various players in the Ivorian pork industry. Bernard presented AVe's consulting services for African pig breeding.
During the show, Mr. Sidi Tiémoko TOURE, Minister of the MIRAH (Ministry of Animal and Fisheries Resources) granted an audience to our two AVe experts. Bernard spoke about AVe's actions in Côte d'Ivoire through the Pro Porc par Ave program, while Daniel talked about the draft agreement currently under discussion for the dairy sector.
Conferences were also organized during the show. Bernard spoke at a conference on “Biosecurity on African pig farms”.
