Annual progress report of a vegetable garden managed by a cooperative in Benin

Upon request of a Belgian association « l’ASBL le Verso du Miroir », Louis, AVe expert AVe has carried out a mission to evaluate the evolution of a vegetable garden located in Passari, near Djougou. The association has set up this garden in 2015/2016 and has passed its management to a women's cooperative. Since 2017 it's the fourth time that Louis provides support on this garden (one intervention at the beginning of each year).

 New development project for a village in Benin

The city hall of Djougou has given to the Belgian association "ASBL le Verso du Miroir" a 500,000 square yards land near a village with 2,000 inhabitants. In January, Louis, AVe expert, visited the village, the land and participated in many exchanges. Following this trip and to meet the needs of the villagers, he wrote an overall project focused on three components : water with the installation of at least one water supply system, health with the creation of a dispensary, and agriculture with the gradual agricultural production of the 500,000 square yards.

International marketing support mission to an electronics Chinese SME 

 For the second consecutive year, Jean-Baptiste, AVe expert, carried out a marketing support mission for an electronics company. At the end of the mission it was concluded to continue the collaboration in 2020 and to focus on quality procedures.

Participation in Paris chocolate fair for a cocoa cooperative of Ivory Coast

The first concrete action specified in the agreement between AVe and the CADESA cocoa cooperative in Ivory Coast was to participate in the Paris chocolate fair. Guy, expert AVe met Alfred, the president of the cooperative. Then he visited all the stands of the chocolate makers present at the exhibition.

CADESA is a dynamic cocoa cooperative in Ivory Coast, located in the department of Sassandra near the seaport of San Pedro, number one in the world for the export of cocoa bean. It is looking for a partnership with a European chocolate maker to create a cocoa bean processing unit in San Pedro. AVe's mission is to provide support to prospect. Two AVe experts, Guy and Denis have taken on this task.

Change of the president of AVe association

Jean-Roger Bureau, the founding president of AVe in 2012, has passed the baton to Louis Jestin, a member of AVe since its creation. The new Executive Boardhas decided to appoint Jean-Roger Bureau Honorary President of AVe in thanks for his investment in the association since its inception.

Two Cameroonians living in France have a pork project in Cameroon as part of a return to the country. Louis, AVe expert, carried out a field mission to Cameroon with one of them to introduce him the pork sector's players in order to clarify the project and to establish its business plan

The In Vivo Foundation and AVe, partners of SCOOPS PIC, cooperative of pork producers in the Yaounde area in Cameroon, have conducted a mission to assess the cooperative after a year of operation, seriously upset by the African swine fever.
